ASVAN-NFGCS N10 BILLION EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

The Association Of Skilled And Vocational Artisans Of Nigeria (ASVAN) in partnership with the Nigeria Farmer’s Group Of Cooperative Society (NFGCS) and kiakia bits limited (KiaKia) are seeking to empower 36,000 members of the organization with the sum of N100,000 interest free loan in all the 36 states of the federation and the FCT. Participating beneficiaries will also be given empowerment in training, with substantial investment made into the procurement and distribution of tools like sewing machines, carpentry tools, and food items.

What members stand to benefit from the program

1. Access to 100,000 interest-free resolving loans to members who would be drawn from all the states of the federation. This loan will be given to business start-ups as well as existing businesses.
2. Access to work tools and machinery. Members can choose work tools and machinery as benefits from the program. Work tools and machinery will be made available to members at subsidized costs.
3. Capacity building: ASVAN will organize training programs in all the states of the federation to train Artisans .

How to Enroll into the program:

1. Walk into any branch of Access Bank or UBA that is close to you to make the payment of N4,000 (four thousand naira) to any of this account details:

1. Post Registration: After the registration period has ended, the following will follow suit;
2. Account opening: ASVAN will open an account for the registered member on the bank where payment was made. Members will access benefits of the program through this amount.
3. Monitoring and Evaluation: The entire task of monitoring and evaluating the program shall fall on KiaKia who shall be responsible for screening members who are qualified for the interest free loans. Also, KiaKia shall be responsible for recovery of these loans.
